Day Five

The Journey continued on Day Five and God continued to blow our minds with the appointments that He had set up in advance.







Above is a picture of the frame that was hanging behind Chris as he sat on the wall at the Kaanapali Mall. This was a clear message to Chris that God was pursuing him and wanting to show him how much He loved him! Chris and I were both blown away at the length that God goes to in order to reveal the love of Jesus!

Day Four

These are 3 of the guys that God brought us back to time and time again in Maui. The one on the left has been living in Maui for 5 years.....drunk 4-5 days a week and sleeping with every tourist girl that he could get his hands on. He has been sober for 30 days now....sick of his life....and is now seeking the Lord.

The guy in the middle has been living in Maui for a few months. He was on Speed since he was 13 years old.....2 years ago he started listening to a pastor online through a google search he had done. The pastor happened to have a church in Lahaina Maui. He listened every Sunday for a year and a half. He ended up accepting Christ and becoming a Christian through the "online messages". God radically changed his life and he has been sober since he accepted the Lord. He moved to Maui 3 months ago to be close to the church that he had been "going to online" for about 2 years.

The guy on the right moved to Maui about 2 years ago. He has been married 4 times and moved to Maui to slow down and "figure out life".

We were able to give all these guys a bible and encourage them through scripture. They want us to fly back out and go on a hiking trip with them in the Kauii mountains. It is radical to see how God is working on each of them.

Day Three

Day Three was full of great surprises and discouragement. Most of our time was spent with High Schoolers and Twenty Somethings.....all of them were smoking weed and/or were drunk. It grew depressing as we talked with more and more young guys on the street. All of them told us that about 90-95% of their high school smokes weed multiple times a day....when they get up, at school and at night. Most of them smoke with their parents as well. But in the midst of all this....God showed up......some of these guys knew that they were made for something more than getting high every day. So here is my Journey on Day Three.

Day One

On Day One....everything seemed to change and it was exciting to see how God was confirming that I was right where He wanted me to be.

First Night

When I arrived in Maui.....I wanted to turn around and fly back home!
