This Journey has been a long time in coming - but people have asked WHY did you do it? The simplest answer I have is that I have gotten to a point where I am sick of living a "status quo" Christian life. Infact, I am not sure if it is biblically possible to live as "status quo Christian life". Aren't the words "status quo" or "luke warm" completely contradictory to what the "Christian Life" is all about according to Jesus. I look at the passage in Revelation where Jesus talks about those who are luke warm being spit out of his mouth. This seems to indicate that in God's book, it is impossible to live luke warm and call yourself a "Christian". I know - pretty radical - but this drove me to book a ticket to Maui so that I could spend time in prayer, seeking the Lord for divine direction, and share Jesus on the streets of Lahaina. I bought as many bibles as I could find and got on the airplane - with no agenda or plan. I needed to get away from everything that was normal and distracting so that I could position myself to hear from God and be used in the "divine appointments" that He had already set up for me. So....here is my journey.
